The Multiplexing Power of 10x Genomics Single Cell Assays

Multiplexing allows multiple samples to be processed in the same reaction by assigning unique sample tags/IDs. For example, using 1x GEM reaction to process 4 unique samples in a single lane on the Chromium chip significantly reduces the per sample cost of the assay.
