Zamile Mbhele

Zamile Mbhele was born and raised in KZN. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Genetics and cellular Biology in 2016, and further pursued her Honours in Genetics from University Of KwaZulu Natal. In 2021 she graduated with master’s degree in Medical Microbiology from the same university.

During her postgraduate studies, Zamile honed her skills for upholding specific learning objectives, fulfilling and facilitating learning activities as a laboratory demonstrator, expression a passion for assisting and guiding students to ensures that students grasp the technicalities and knowledge behind the Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Microbiology Modules. Zamile has worked as an Admin Clerk at a well-established Pathology lab, where she gained experience on how to handle human specimens, deal with patients, process various diagnostic tests and learnt the importance of multi-tasking, time management and accuracy in every situation. Zamile joins Diagnostech as an internal sales administrator, putting her keen eye for detail and great customer service skills to even better use.

During her free time, Zamile enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her daily inspiration is always her mum, who has taught her to never give up.
