Mpumie Macabela

Originally hailing from the Eastern Cape, Nompumelelo (fondly known as Mpumie) decided to join the Jozi rat race in 2008. She obtained her BCom Economics degree from Walter Sisulu University in 2008, majoring in Economics and Commercial Law. It was also during her tenure as a student that she placed first in her 3rd year of study by Economic Researchers South Africa (ERSA).

Mpumie has had an active career having worked at various companies where she played a significant role in designing and automating the effective sales costing tool using VBA Coding and MS Excel rules. At the completion of the project, she coordinated workshops and facilitated training with relevant stakeholders.

Mpumie started working at Diagnostech in 2018 and brings a considerable amount of knowledge and experience regarding administration, office procedures, order management and customer service. Her positive ‘can do’ solution-focused mentality is a true asset to our team.

During her spare time, she enjoys taking part in outdoor fitness activities such as road races (she has a couple of 42km marathons under her belt) and hiking.
