Monique McNab

Monique, the owner and founder of Diagnostech, began her career as a medical technologist at the National Health Laboratory Service – South Africa’s largest diagnostic pathology service. She completed her National Higher Diploma (NH Dip) in Chemical Pathology in 1993, but as one never to shy away from a challenge, Monique stepped away from the familiar laboratory environment to explore sales and marketing in the IVD industry.

In 2003 her bravery was rewarded when she was awarded the sole distributorship of Dako products; first in South Africa and, soon thereafter, in neighbouring African countries.

Over the next decade and more, Diagnostech has grown substantially under her guidance. Having concluded agencies with over nine world-leading suppliers and a continental footprint in over 34 African countries, the company has become a formidable force in the diagnostics and molecular industry.

Not just the busy executive, Monique fills her time being a supermom to two beautiful children – and attempting to understand the universe in which they live.
