Geswine Matroos

Geswine began his career at SKA South Africa, now known as SARAO and was part of the team that won the bid to co-host the SKA telescope. Having been in a scientific environment his whole career; from radio astronomy and electrical engineering, to biotechnology; all in an administrative capacity.

Geswine’s experience ranges from purchasing, fixed assets control, imports and exports, to general bookkeeping, finance and more. He also has a National Diploma in Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

He is the proud father of a lovely daughter he absolutely adores. His interests are Greek mythology, poetry by Edgar Allan Poe, sports, memes, reading, and solitary introspection.
