Chara Mansoor

Chara began her scientific journey at the University of Johannesburg with a BSc in Biochemistry and Botany. After completing her MSc in Botany and Plant Biotechnology with a focus on molecular techniques, Chara jumped straight into a career in scientific sales. She has filled roles as a Life Sciences Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager amongst others.

Combining a passion for science and a love of business, she has worked within the sales, marketing and business development arena throughout her career. Chara is currently the Molecular Business Unit Manager at Diagnostech hopes to continue making a difference by delivering an excellent product and offering a superior service.

In her spare time, Chara likes to read, run, bake (like a boss), and pet other people’s dogs while being walked by her Schnauzer.
