Carina Jooste

Carina is a highly efficient, dedicated professional whose main aim is to simplify the life of fellow scientists, and completed her BSc Honours in Medical Microbiology at Stellenbosch University. Her research project involved mostly molecular techniques and focussed on the mechanisms of drug resistance in Staphylococcus Aureus.

She has since been involved in expanding scientific research by helping scientists to find the most suitable technologies to achieve their goals. Her experience covers many applications, but most notably, high content screening, 3D biological models, model organisms and microscopy. Carina joins Diagnostech as the Business Development Manager for Molecular, where her people skills, efficiency and customer dedication, are sure to make her an invaluable member of the team.

Carina is passionate about enabling scientists to make breakthrough discoveries that will contribute to a better world for all. Should she be AWOL, send the search party to the closest beach – you will find her staring at the waves with a coffee in her hand.
